Celebrating the diaspora of the Middle East and through a Beirut connection your hosts wish to share an experience representative of how our generation have been influenced by music and how we like to eat today.
The 4 course menu will be prepared by Diala Dajani who is half Italian, half Palestinian and will be drawing from these two cultures to create a unique yet casual dining experience.
Later on in the evening, guests will enjoy live music influenced from the Mediterranean. The updated lineup will be The frontman of Gyps N' Progress, currently the UK's leading manouche and gypsy jazz trio, Andrea Todesco will be gracing us with his presence, playing a selection of Mediterranean gypsy jazz reminiscent of Django Reinhardt and other gypsy swing manouche legends.
This will be followed by a main set featuring US-born Lebanese singer-songwriter Juliana Yazbeck, who will perform an acoustic set of her original music, fusing Arabic vocals and poetry, with gypsy guitar accompaniment by Alexis Kraniou from Greece.
